Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy Suresh (born 17 October 1992) is an Indian actress, who is primarily in Tamil as well as Telugu film, as well as to some Malayalam films. She received the National Film Award for Best Actress for portraying actress Savitri for the Telugu movie Mahanati (2018). She has also received three SIIMA Awards and a Filmfare Award South. Keerthy is the daughter of film producer G. Suresh Kumar and actor Menaka G. Suresh. The career of Keerthy began in the 2000s when she was a child actor. She returned to film after completing her studies in the field of fashion. She starred in her debut major part in Geethaanjali (2013) in which was a Malayalam feature film. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Keerthy started working on films that weren't Malayalam in the year 2015. In addition, she signed to be a part of numerous Tamil films at the same time. Her first film, A. L. Vijay's romantic comedy Idhu Enna Maayam, in 2015 alongside Vikram Prbhu. The film was not successful at the box-office. It was necessary to withdraw of a variety of projects she had been working on in 2015, including Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye and Deekay's Kavalai Vedam in order to allow for more ambitious projects. The actress was in two films quickly, along with Sivakarthikeyan, Rajini Murugan & Remo. Dhanush was also the leading actor in Prabhu's Thodari. The film was delayed. Reports indicate that Janakitho Nenu is expected to release in September 2020. The film's first film to debut was in 2016's Nenu Sailaja featuring the actor Ram Pothineni. In January, Keerthy appeared in Bairavaa, opposite actor Vijay and directed by Bharathan. She also was in Tamil films like Paambhu Sattai as well as Telugu films Nenu Local.
