Born on November 25 1968 Jillian Shennessy was a energetic Canadian performer and actress who has been praised for her notable contribution for American television. She was the main character in the American TV series Law & Order, where she portrayed prosecutor Claire Kincaid for three years. In Crossing Jordan she played Jordan Cavanaugh in six seasons. Hennessy is also famous for her stellar performances on RoboCop 3 Most Wanted. Some other movies include Chutney Popcorn (an independent film) as well as The Acting Class. Hennessy began her acting career as an actress in Dead Ringers with her sister. She had a brief stint on Broadway in the musical Buddy - The Buddy Holly Story during the year 1990 before moving into the world of science fiction in 1993, playing Dr. Marie Lazarus in RoboCop 3. She got her big break at the end of 1993 in the form of a role as Assistant District Attorney Claire Kincaid on the hit NBC drama Law & Order. Parker was a part of series and films such as RED Fried Green Tomatoes Boys On The Side, West Wing Angels In America as well as RED Fried Green Tomatoes, for which she was awarded an Emmy Award, a Golden Globe Award and Emmy Award. Parker was also awarded the Tony Award for Best Actress 2001 in Broadway's play Proof.
