Reese Witherspoon took her career seriously following her first enrollment as a student at Stanford University. The first successes of her acting career were in movies like Pleasantville and Election However, her character in Elle Woods was the turning point for her. She also appeared as a character on The Dictator (1998) and The Incredible Burt Wonderstone (2006). A talented painter, she has also had her work displayed in many galleries.
